I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and I've always had a passion for creativity and art. After graduating from The University of Mississippi with a degree in broadcast journalism in 2015, I followed my heart to Nashville with my then-boyfriend (now husband of 5 years), Miles. While living in Nashville, I worked in corporate event planning, managing teams for some of the largest conferences in the country. I also pursued my passion for teaching and graduated from Lipscomb University with a degree in education. For several years, I taught kindergarten, which was a wonderful and rewarding experience.
In 2018, Miles and I tied the knot, and we've since been blessed with a beautiful daughter named Grace, who is 1.5 years old. She brings so much joy and happiness to our lives. In 2022, our family moved back to Dallas, and we're thrilled to be back in Texas and raising Grace in my hometown.
I enjoy expressing my creativity through needlepoint and embroidery. As a seasoned needlepointer, I love to learn new patterns and techniques. It's such a relaxing and therapeutic hobby, and I love to share my work with others. You can often find Grace and me at Needlepoint stores in Dallas.
In addition to my love for needlepoint, I also have a passion for volunteering. For years, I've been involved with the Junior League in both Nashville and Dallas. I cherish the time I spend at the Ronald McDonald House in Dallas, a wonderful organization that provides support for families with children in need of medical care. It's an honor to be able to give back to my community in this way.
